Service Description
Dermaplaning is a non-invasive cosmetic procedure that involves using a sterile surgical blade to gently exfoliate the top layer of dead skin cells and fine vellus hair (commonly known as "peach fuzz") from the face. The procedure is typically performed by a licensed skincare professional, such as an aesthetician or a dermatologist. During the procedure, the skincare professional will first cleanse the face and then use a small, sterile blade to gently scrape across the skin at a 45-degree angle. The blade removes the outer layer of dead skin cells, revealing smoother, brighter, and more radiant skin. The procedure is painless and usually takes around 30 to 45 minutes to complete. In addition to exfoliating the skin, dermaplaning can also help to improve the absorption of skincare products and makeup, as well as reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. It can also be used to treat certain types of acne and improve the overall texture and tone of the skin. Dermaplaning is generally considered safe for most skin types, but it is not recommended for those with active acne, inflamed skin, or certain skin conditions.

No payment will be taken upfront. No-Show Fee: If you fail to attend your appointment without prior notice, a £10 no-show fee will be charged to the card on file. 24-Hour Cancellation Policy: If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance to avoid the no-show fee. Late Arrivals: If you arrive late, we may need to shorten your appointment time or reschedule, subject to availability. By booking an appointment with The Aesthetic Surgery, you agree to this policy.
